Fustina has many years of expertise successfully innovating and delivering strategic technology solutions. During her career she has worked across diverse industries including Financial Services, Retail, Real Estate, VOIP, and Software Automation . She has been instrumental in architecting data integration, reporting and analytics products and enabling engineering teams to deliver quality, secure and well architected on-premise, cloud native and hybrid solutions. When not working, Fustina spends most of her time transporting her children to their various activities and searching for the perfect chocolate brownie recipe.
Brendan (Benny) has been designing, developing and testing applications for 15+ years with a mix of embedded, desktop application and cloud development in diverse sectors such as content delivery, scientific imaging, payment systems, security cameras and more. With a core specialism in back-end systems, Benny’s skill set includes multiple languages and cloud technologies, systems architecture, event streaming, API development and third party integrations. Benny enjoys collaborative development with a focus and understanding of what the customer actually needs. Outside of work, Benny can be found in the gym, or building, installing or fixing something to finish his house.
Pipelines are Ronan’s bread and butter, both in work and play (he’s an avid PC gamer when it comes to the resource-management genre). Throughout his career he has enjoyed data engineering in many different industries, including telecoms, ad-tech and food tech (pizza), at all scales – from kilobytes to petabytes!
When not building pipelines, Ronan enjoys wrestling with his labradoodle Toby and sampling craft beer.
Ivan is passionate about analytics and marketing technology. He’s equally excited about drafting a vision for client’s analytics, as well as getting into the nitty-gritty of on-site tags if such a need arises.
As part of marketing specialists’ team at Bain & Company, Ivan worked with several leading companies in Retail, Consumer Products and Technology categories. Prior to that, he ran app analytics and attribution team for a global telco.
In his free time you can find Ivan trying out a new dish or cocktail recipe, be it at the latest trendy London spot, or at home.
Isabel is inspired by how we can leverage the power of data to solve some of our clients’ biggest problems. A creative thinker and problem solver, she combines her passion for product vision, strategy and design to ensure that as we build for the future, we build for everyone. Alongside Ocula, her award-winning work to improve diversity in the technology sector includes lead volunteering roles at Code First Girls, GirlCode and Microsoft, and sharing her experiences at Her Business Now. When she’s not working her magic in Jira, you’ll find her on the sports pitch, or adding a new hobby to her endless collection!
Sara loves building, designing, and implementing complex models that help organisations make better decisions. She has a wealth of experience training Machine Learning and Digital Twin models to capture the intricacies of retail, aviation, automotive and Formula 1. Sara draws on her academic experience in data science and operational research (optimisation), where she received the Operational Research Society’s May Hicks Award for her Master’s dissertation on dynamic pricing optimisation (runner up). Away from the code editor, you will most likely find Sara hiking in the wilderness or, failing that, testing out London’s newest specialty coffee shop.
Alex started his career as a simulation engineer for an F1 team and luxury car OEM, before transitioning into a large consultancy firm helping clients improve and automate their decision making processes using simulation and data science techniques.
Not surprisingly, away from work, Alex enjoys anything with wheels that goes fast, and if there is an engine attached to it, even better.
Andrew enjoys the challenge of developing Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics and Optimisation techniques, and can often be found applying these to topics outside of work. Andrew holds a PhD in Statistics and was a recent Chair of the Royal Statistical Society Northern Ireland local group. Andrew is a champion for the dissemination of cutting-edge analytics in order to solve challenges, both within industry and public life, and to help optimise the benefits that data can bring. Away from the data, Andrew is a keen Rocket League competitor and is always up for a 1v1!
Niall hails from the West coast of Ireland, and is a recent graduate of the MSc in Data Analytics from Queens University Belfast. His Masters dissertation examined how machine learning methods could extract valuable insights from Bovine Tuberculosis testing data in Northern Ireland. Previous to this, he worked as a Mathematics and Engineering Educator, and has a PhD in Applied Mathematics during which he developed models of drug release from various smart-polymer devices including contact lenses. When he’s not solving maths problems, he can likely be found hiking in the Mournes, poorly attempting to play traditional Irish music, or crying on the couch watching Everton lose again.
Linus loves to immerse himself in challenging and complex problem statements and builds mathematical models to create understanding in crucial business areas.
He believes that the constant challenging of our own perspectives is a necessity.
Ed has a wealth of experience in designing and delivering web applications for data science and simulation propositions, building out interactive data and geospatial visualisations in React and Angular for mission-critical production use cases. He also led technical strategy engagements with a top consulting firm. Before moving into web development, Ed founded an additive manufacturing startup and developed hardware prototypes in Shenzhen, China, as well as working in composite materials research for F1 teams and aerospace majors. Away from the keyboard, Ed can be found cycling the country lanes of the home counties and haunting London’s latest food and music spots.
Thomas holds a Masters in Software Engineering from Queen’s University Belfast, and has gained a wealth of experience working with serverless technologies and data pipelines within an interconnected ETL platform. Thomas loves nothing more than being given a difficult problem and utilising technology to overcome it. Aside from work, Thomas loves all things sports and outdoors, he can be found (attempting to) surf the North Coast of Ireland or going fast downhill on a mountain bike.
Daisy started her career in quality assurance but soon realized she had a deep desire to understand how the mechanics worked under the hood. This led to several years of up-skilling to start a career in software development.
When not sitting behind a computer screen, be it coding or gaming, Daisy can be found on two wheels as her number one passion is motorcycles.
Gary studied Computer Science at the University of Manchester and has worked across the financial services industry so far in his career designing, building and testing analytical models and big data pipelines at scale.
Away from work, Gary loves exploring the Irish coastline with his dog, playing some 5-aside (when he’s not injured) and riding his bike in the countryside.
